30.10.2008 - Starting from 25 October 2008 new Regulation on business travelling has been introduced by Governmental Resolution of 13 October 2008, # 749. The Regulation replaces the old Instruction of 20 years old.

The important differences from the old instruction are:

• Limit of 40 days is abolished. Term of a business trip may be any and depends on the business necessity.
• Business travelling certificates are required for travelling to CIS countries which, according to agreements with Russia and other CIS countries, do not make stamps or notes on crossing the boarders.
• Per diems are payable for 1 day business trip outside Russia;
