Change of the ?migration? documents form
15.02.2006 - Please be informed that since the end of 2005 ? beginning of 2006 the form of the Work Permit for foreign or stateless citizens (issued by the Federal Migration Service of Russia) has been changed.

Transfer of non-working days in 2006
06.02.2006 - Please be informed that in accordance with the Governmental Regulation of RF No. 813 dated 28.12.2005 ?On the transfer of non-working days in 2006?, for the purposes of rational use of weekends and non-working days by employees, the following non-working days are transferred:

Possible changes in the Work Permits documentation procedures.
28.01.2006 - According to the information our Company disposes, in the nearest future changes may be introduced into the documentation procedures for Work Permits issued to foreign or stateless citizens. In order to obtain Work Permits, the above mentioned citizens may be offered to take the medical examination to detect the absence of such infectious disease as ?bird flu?.

New base for Property Tax
26.01.2006 - The Ministry of Finance on 12 December 2005 issued Order #147n which puts an end to the continuous argument of taxpayers with the tax authorities on whether assets accounted on Account 03 as investments in profitable values are liable to Russian property tax.

As of the beginning of 2006, the country?s foreign currency and gold reserves amount up to $182, 2 billion.
24.01.2006 - The volume of gold and foreign currency reserves of the Russian Federation, calculated on the basis of an estimation of monetary gold under current quotations of Bank of Russia, as of the beginning of 2006 has made 182,2 billion US dollars.

2005 budget surplus tops $54bn
23.01.2006 - The 2005 federal budget surplus was RUR 1,536.8 billion ($54.3 billion at the current exchange rate), the Finance Ministry of the Russian Federation said. Cash surplus was reported at RUR 1,616.5 billion ($57.12 billion), and primary surplus stood at RUR 1,824.1 billion (about $64.46 billion).
