Conference “Russia: Practical Solutions”

Issues:
This Conference is designed to assist British companies with their Russian business and facilitate entering the Russian market, The event on November 15th has the participation of award-winning BBC correspondent, Bridget Kendal. The UK Government and the Department of Trade and Industry is supporting the conference by cascading information about the event throughout the UK. At the conference, the Head of the Tax Department with VFBS, Olga Cherkasova, will report on Russian taxation and tax planning opportunities for foreign companies and will lead the Round Table on these topics.
Moreover, VFBS sponsors the best-seller guide “Russia: Market Approaches” devoted to practical aspects of doing business in Russia. This edition was funded by the Department of Trade & Industry, and became its “best –selling export publication by far”. The book is aimed not only at companies entering the market for the first time, but is also useful for those who have been doing business in Russia for many years. Rather than an anecdotal or didactic narrative, it is mainly in the form of a digest, in which people can look up information at a glance. The dry information is supplemented by a short text on various aspects of doing business.
