Particular issues regarding employee's resignation have been clarified.
An employee can also get resignation on his/her own free will during vacation or temporary disability period.
Thus, resignation date can fall within these periods. The prohibition to dismiss employees in the above mentioned periods is valid only in regards to dismissal upon the employer's initiative.
The RF Labor Code allows to apply for resignation on employee' will in any form including by mail (for instance, registered mail).
Resignation can be effected either upon expiration of the period set by the RF Labor Code, Part 1, Article 80 (two weeks), or on the day stated in the employee's application.
