25.12.2006 - If earlier the vacation allowance was paid on the basis of the actually accrued salary for three latest calendar days then from October 6, 2006 the average salary is defined on the basis of salary during the latest 12 calendar months 12. The new calculation order of the average salary is applicable when the employee takes the vacation after October 6, 2006.
For calculation of the average salary shall be considered all forms of payment, provided for by the labor compensation system, applicable in the corresponding organization irrespective of the sources of these payments. To define the average salary for the purpose of the vacation allowance payment the following must be determined: time period for calculation of the average salary; amount of salary during the calculation period, considered for calculation of the average salary; average daily earnings for payment of the vacation allowance; number of payable vacation days; salary amount to pay the vacation allowance.
In case if the employee has worked during an incomplete month or several incomplete months of the calculation period the average salary for the purpose of vacation allowance shall be defined by division of the actually accrued salary during the calculation period by amount consisting of the average monthly number of calendar days (29.4, in case of vacation before October 6, 2006 ? 29.6), multiplied by the number of the incomplete months and number of calendar days in the incomplete months of the calculation period. In this case the number of calendar days in the incomplete months shall be calculated by multiplication of the business days according to the calendar with five-business-days week during the work time of the employee by the coefficient 1.4.
