20.06.2005 ? State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in second and third readings the amendments to the Federal Law ?On Governmental registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs? and to the article #49 of Civil Code of the Russian Federation on the 17th of June.

The amendments concern the exclusion of dormant legal entities from the Unified State Register of legal entities.

The bill introduced simplified procedure of liquidation of dormant legal entities. It establishes an administrative liquidation procedure not court liquidation for such entities. But the bill also reserves the possibility to appeal to court for the parties affected.
