According to the information our Company disposes, in the nearest future changes may be introduced into the documentation procedures for Work Permits issued to foreign or stateless citizens. In order to obtain Work Permits, the above mentioned citizens may be offered to take the medical examination to detect the absence of such infectious disease as ?bird flu?.
For reference, currently in order to obtain Work Permits the mentioned foreign citizens must take the medical examination to detect the absence of the following diseases: HIV, leprosy (Hansen?s disease), tuberculosis, syphilis, chlamydia (venereal), chancres.
Also in the nearest future changes may be introduced to the Russian Federation legislation (RF Code for administrative violations) establishing the employer?s liability for illegal engaging and use of foreign labor force. The maximum penalty for the commitment of such unlawful acts may be increased up to 1 000 000 rubles.
We remind that currently the maximum penalty for this liability is 300 000 rubles.
