Hereby we would like to remind you about the responsibilities of employer when employing highly qualified foreign specialist:
- Within 10 working days from the date the labor agreement came into force it is necessary to inform tax authorities about employment of HQS.
- Within 30 calendar days of obtaining of work permit it is necessary to obtain a personal tax identification number for a foreign HQS.
- After obtaining of tax ID number it is necessary to inform Federal Migration Service about obtaining tax ID number. Notification of FMS about personal tax ID number should be done every time when a HQS work permit is obtained by the employer.
- Every January, April, July and October employer has to send to Federal Migration Service quarterly notifications about salary payments made to the HQS.
In case of premature termination of the labor agreement it is necessary to:
- Within 10 working days from the date of termination of the labor agreement with HQS notify tax authorities about such termination.
- Notify Federal Migration Service about termination of the labor agreement with HQS.
- Notify Federal Migration Service about salary payment made to the HQS.
- In case foreign national is planning to seek employment in Russia with a different employer it is necessary to terminate the current work permit.
It is also necessary to notify Federal Migration Service about an unpaid vacation of 1 month and more.
