We would like to draw your attention to some important news of the migration law.

1. 2012 Work permits Quota distribution between regions of the Russian Federation:

   Federal Labor Service has approved quota distribution between regions of the Russian Federation ? Decree # 315 dated December 28, 2011. All details can be found on the official website of the Federal Labor Service - http://www.rostrud.ru/documents/xPages/item.2547.html#addons.

2. 2012 Work permit Quota distribution between Companies ? Employers:

   Federal Labor Service has also provided data on quota distribution between Companies ? Employers that filed the quota applications in 2011. Details on approved quotas can be found on the above mentioned official website of the Federal Labor Service.

   In case if Company did not file the quota application for 2012 or the application was not approved or was partly approved, it is possible to file an application to the Labor Exchange Centre that has started to accept applications for quota corrections for the year 2012.

   Besides you can also use one of non-quota positions which list should be approved in the very near future.

3. Ministry of Health and Social Development Decree on Non-quota positions for 2012:

   Ministry of Health and Social Development approved the Decree on non-quota positions for the year 2012. The list of non-quota positions has been amended and includes 41:

   We would like to draw your attention that the Labor Exchange Centre informs that when an Employer includes non-quota positions in the quota application for 2013, these positions will be excluded and will not be approved.

4. New requirements of FMS when processing of invitation letters for dependants of highly qualified specialists: Federal Migration Service requires Apostiled copies of Birth and Marriage Certificates together with applications for invitation letters for dependants of highly qualified specialists.

5. Agreement on legal status of Migrant Workers and their family members (Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation)

   We would also like to remind you on enforcement of the Agreement on legal status of Migrant Workers and their family members abolishing the work permit requirements for Kazakh nationals.
