A new form of Migration Card has been approved by the Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 271 dated 06.05.2006. Earlier the foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation territory often had difficulties when filling in the Migration Card effective at that time presented in the format as approved by the Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 413 dated 16.08.2004 as the text of the Migration Card form was exclusively in the Russian language. The new Migration Card form is presented in the Russian and in the English languages at the same time. In our opinion this innovation will make the process of filling in the Migration Card form when entering the Russian Federation territory much easier for the foreign citizens who do not familiar with the Russian language.
