Contracts
Contracts play a vital role in the day-to-day activities of legal entities. It is crucial that before any contract is signed and sealed its contents are laid out in clear and unambiguous terms. Parties to a contract often use standard contract forms, but that may lead to all kinds of complications: from differences in interpretation of the contract terms to outright disputes between parties. In 2002 the Moscow Court of Arbitration heard 40 000 cases, more than a half of which were caused by the incorrect or ambiguous drafting of contracts.
