24.07.06 - CHANGES IN RUSSIAN IMMIGRATION LEGISLATION
On July 19, 2006 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed two Russian Federal Laws aimed at improving Russian immigration legislation and simplifying immigration procedures for expatriate nationals arriving in Russia, namely:
13.07.06 - Amendments are introduced in more than 300 code articles, besides 13 new articles are introduced
A number of amendments is introduced in the RF Labor Code (RF LC). Most articles are legal and technical in nature and aim at eliminating existing contradictions and inaccuracies as well as eliminating a possibility of varying interpretations of legal rules without changing the conceptual nature of clauses.
12.07.06 - The State Duma has approved in the third reading a project of a Law which, if approved by the upper chamber of the State Duma and signed by President, will introduce some Unified Social Tax relieves for IT companies having more than 50 programmers and not less than 70% of turnover from sale of IT products.
